Sometimes there are no words | Only a feeling
communication through visual storytelling
I often struggle with explaining to people the impact that Schumacher College had on me when I studied my master's in Ecological Design Thinking in 2015. It was the most transformational tie of my life. It's hard to know that you are out of sync if you don't have someone or something to shake you out of it. I was raised by a system that is self-reinforcing. One that overemphasizes both the rational mind and the ego. Controlled and traumatized by them. I was to learn that there are other ways in which we can interact with the world. Through Integrating ways of knowing, we become more whole beings. Exploring empathy, Imagination, intuition, and feeling come to mind here. One thing that is clear, is that we are not going to survive climate change or ecosystem collapse, without making an effort to re-integrate the parts of ourselves we have forgotten - essentially rewild our perspective and consciousness.
